This site, "Beat the Donkey", presents a "fast tournament system" refined for online No-Limit Texas Hold'em multi-table tournaments. It's foundation is from a collection of poker greats, Doyle Brunson's "Super System II", Dan Harrington & Bill Robertie's "Harrington on Hold'em Volume I, II and III", Tom McEvoy & T.J. Cloutier's "Championship Hold'em Tournament Hands", Phil Gordon's "Little Green Book and "Little Blue Book", David Sklansky's "Tournament Poker for Advanced Players", and Gus Hansen's "Every Hand Revealed". The strategy built on this formidable foundation is primarily from the materials provided by Arnold Snyder's "The Poker Tournament Formula", Lee Nelson, Tysen Streib & Kim Lee's "Kill Everyone" and Daniel Negreanu's "Poker Hold'em Strategy" with chapters by Evelyn Ng, Todd Brunson, Erick Lindgren, Paul Wasicka and David Williams.


animated donkey headThe system was then tested extensively in real online multi-table no-limit texas hold-em tournaments at sites such as Full Tilt, Poker Stars, Doyle's Room, Spade Club and Club UBT. Millions of hands were also played in simulated play using a very well-respected software program, "Poker Academy" and "POKI".

It was originally the premise that there was a system of OPTIMAL PLAY which could be deduced scientifically using research at the University of Ontario and .....

Any pocket pair or two cards ten or higher: 4.5-1 (18%)
Any pocket pair of sevens or higher or two cards ten or higher: 5.4-1 (16%)
Either pocket aces or pocket kings: 110-1 (0.9%)
Either pocket aces, pocket kings or Ace-King? (AK): 46-1 (2.1%)
Ace-King? (AK) suited: 331-1 (0.3%)
AK offsuit: 110-1 (0.9%)
AK suited or offsuit: 82-1 (1.2%)
Any two suited cards: 3.3-1 (24%)
Any two-way suited connectors (4-5 to J-10 suited): 46-1 (2.1%)
Any two-way offsuit connectors: 11-1 (8.5%)
